
Arena Hire Policy
ENTRY:
- Entry is by the gate on Melcer road
- Once on Melcer road, turn into the first gate on the right
- The Riverview road gate is locked, if you turn into that driveway, you will have to back out.

HOUSE KEEPING:
- The arena gate must be closed when you enter and leave the arena, or it can be damaged
- If you use a yard, you must clean it up.
- DO NOT TIE HORSES TO YARDS. Yards are portable and not secured to the ground
- Please clean up after your horse. No manure is to be left in the arena or wash bay
- If you break something, or come across something broken, please contact us immediately
- The arena is professionally built with a suitable base. This base cannot be disturbed or it will cause damage and bogging. No digging is permitted in the sand including pawing of horses.
- Please respect our private areas including the shed and private residence. You can view a map of where you can go here.​

RULES:
- Strictly NO DOGS
- You MUST wear appropriate footwear when handling horses
- You MUST wear a PCAQ or EA approved helmet
- You may be accountable to pay for damaged equipment including but not limited to jumps, fencing, gates, hoses.
- If you do not follow the rules, your future bookings may be cancelled at Riverview Equestrian Centre's discretion without a refund
- Surveillance is used on the property to ensure safety of clients and visitors, ensure no trespassers enter and that rules are followed
- Riders under the age of 18 must be accompanied but an adult at all times
- Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied but an adult at all times, even if not riding
- Spectating visitors are permitted. You are responsible for the attire and behaviour of your visitors
- If jumping, riders of any age must be accompanied by another adult
- Riders must respect 'right of way' rules.
- For biosecurity precautions, do not bring unwell horses onto the property
- Horses must be restrained in the arena at all times and may not be loose
- No hirer using the Equestrian Centre may give or receive riding instruction or offer professional coaching services to others without the prior approval of the Equestrian Centre office. A hire booking supported by evidence of public liability insurance must be made through the Equestrian Centre.
WAIVER FORM:
- New riders must compete a waiver form, if a waiver has not been completed you will not be allowed to ride at Riverview Equestrian Centre. You can complete it here.
- All instructors and clubs must have their own liability insurance

CANCELLATIONS:
- If arena hire cancellations are made within 12 hours you will have to pay for your booking
​

DISCPLINARY:
- Failure to comply with this policy or any directions of Riverview equestrian centre will result in one written warning. Second offence will result in a second written warning. Third and final warning results in suspension or expulsion
- Incidents of grave misconduct will warrant immediate expulsion and fees will not be refunded.
