Private Lesson (Own Horse)

Policy

Waiver: - Before riding you must complete the online waiver. Location: - We are located on Melcer road Elliott Heads. (Melcers road if using apple maps). - First gate on the right along Melcer road. - Please leave your dogs at home. - My dogs will greet you, they will bark but are friendly. Cancellations: - Please cancel ASAP. If you will be away for your scheduled lessons please let me know asap so someone else can fill your spot. There is high demand for lessons and a waitlist, so allowing time to fill your spot is appreciated. - If you cancel within 24 hours of the start time, you will have to pay the full price of the lesson. - Horse riding is weather dependent. Your lesson may be cancelled due to moderate-heavy rain and strong winds. If I reschedule the lesson for safety reasons, the booking deposit will be transferred. Preparation: - Please have your horse tacked up ready to begin the lesson. (You are permitted to warm up before the lesson in the grass dressage arena). - If you want the instructors assistance tacking up, this reduces riding time. Riding Equipment: - You must wear an EA or pony club approved helmet. - You must wear boots with a smooth sole and small heel. - Wear long pants such as tights, jeans. Jodhpurs or breeches are preferred as they have more grip. Safety: - Always follow instructions. - Do not go into any paddocks without your instructor, unless you have been asked. - It is the parent/guardians responsibility to supervise other children and keep them at a safe distance from the horses. Facility: - Clean, modern toilet facility. - Wash down bay under the shelter. - Yards.
