Service Description
Sunday 15th Feb - from 11am. T-Shirt hack day at Riverview Equestrian Services welcoming beginners to showing providing a safe environment with support throughout the day. This is also a great way to start the 2026 season for experienced or green horses. Nominations close Friday the 13th Feb at 12pm so we can estimate the amount of riders attending. Late nominations will be accepted from 13/02/26 12pm until on the day (there will be a late fee of $20). No refunds after nominations close. There will be a sausage sizzle and cold drinks available. Day yard available to book for $10 - limited available. (If you are doing presentation clinic in morning, your yard is included in the clinic). Fees are per horse/rider combination. If one rider has two horses, that rider must pay two sets of fees. Entry fee: $10 Option 1: led classes only $10 Option 2: ridden classes only $25 Option 3: Led and ridden classes $35 If you are nominating on the day (late fee will apply) EFTPOS is available.

Policy
Rules: - Neat attire to be worn – collared show shirt and jodhpurs. Jackets are not required. - Hunter horses can compete in all classes, but only hunter horses can compete in the hunter class - Hunter horse definition: - Beginner classes are walk / trot only. These riders can go in all classes but must tell the judge they are not comfortable to canter. - Beginner class winners are only eligible for beginner champion class and are not eligible for supreme. - Youngstock classes are for horses 3 years and under. Birthday taken from the first of August. - Youngstock horses are not eligible for open mare/gelding classes. - Maiden horse has not won a class before. - Novice horse has not won champion before. - Open horse is open to all horses including maiden and novice. - Results from this event will not affect eligibility for Ag shows or show horse council. - Pleasure class must be ridden in snaffle. - Ponys are ne (not exceeding) 14hh - Galloways are 14hh, ne (not exceeding) 15hh. - Hacks are 15hh and over. - All competitors under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian present to be eligible to compete. - Riverview Equestrian Services has the right to refuse entry or evict any misbehaving horses, competitors, spectators or visitors from the ring or grounds. - Riverview Equestrian services shall not be responsible for loss, damage or injury during the competition and competitors and visitors enter/compete at their own risk. - Helmets and boots must be worn. - Nominations close midday Friday the 13th Feb. - Late nominations accepted with a $20 late fee. - Nominations are to be made online here. When nominating online you must select an add on after you complete the booking form.
